At that time, I was a sophomore, filled with curiosity about the world and unrealistic ambitions.
My first foray was not into the cryptocurrency space, but into the stock market. I invested not in stocks, but in high-leverage warrants. In just a few weeks, my account evaporated 70% of its principal.
The gap between high expectations and complete despair felt like a harsh slap from reality, teaching me the harsh truth that "the market is ruthless." I began to understand that finance is not about passionate speculation, but a long-term battle against human nature.
But I did not stop there. After a late-night discussion in the library, a friend introduced me to Bitcoin. This was my first deep dive into cryptocurrency. The more I explored, the more I realized it was not just a speculative tool, but an ambitious technological experiment and a challenge to the traditional financial system.

April 2018#

I registered for a Binance account @binance. That night, I made a nearly crazy decision: to live on just $30 a week, investing all my part-time income into buying coins. I don't smoke, socialize, travel, or change my phone. Every day after returning from my campus job, the first thing I did was check the candlestick charts.
Others saw me as a madman, but I knew this was not an escape from reality, but a step into a brand new future.

The Cryptocurrency World in 2019#

Was filled with a romantic atmosphere. I joined the Binance community @binancezh and met many enthusiastic early evangelists. At that time, IEOs were just starting, and the value of BNB had not yet been fully recognized.
I witnessed interactions and discussions between Nizi Ge @cryptocishanjia and He Yi @heyibinance online, and at that moment, I realized this was not just an exchange, but more like a group of idealists building the foundation of a new world. I began to trust CZ @cz_binance and was moved by He Yi's sincerity and frankness in the community. That year, I decided to bet all my assets on BNB. I worked three jobs, almost without rest on weekends, just to acquire more BNB. It was not about predicting its rise, but betting on its future.

By 2020, a black swan event plunged the market into an abyss. On March 12, the global financial system resonated and collapsed, and crypto assets plummeted overnight. I sat at home, staring at the trading software, watching my assets turn from green to red, then black.
That night, I did not collapse or cry; I just felt empty. But the next day, I opened Binance as usual and continued my research nonchalantly. Because I understood that it was the price that fell, not my belief.

In 2021, I graduated from university#

I did not seek a job or join a company. I stayed in the crypto space, trading in real time while digging deep into early projects. Then, everything exploded. BNB soared from dozens of dollars, project tokens rose one after another, and my positions began to double.
It wasn't until one early morning when I refreshed my account that I truly realized: my assets were nearing $900,000. I did not feel ecstatic; rather, it was a sense of relief after suppression. It turned out that these years were not spent in vain; it turned out that persistence would eventually pay off.
But I knew well that this did not mean success. The crypto world does not survive on luck; every profit must withstand the next market cycle to prove whether you deserve to keep it.

I have seen too many friends who became arrogant due to sudden wealth, ultimately returning their profits to the market; I have also witnessed predecessors who exited due to crashes.

So I continued to keep a low profile and kept learning#

From 2018 to 2025, I experienced countless fluctuations. My assets have risen by 10 times, 100 times, and also fallen by 90%; I have doubted myself many times, but I have never truly given up.

This year, I decided to no longer remain silent#
